Visitors to the San Juan Capistrano Mission. This California landscape was completed in 1973. Although painted before he developed his unique textured style, he considered this one of his best. I remember his sitting in front of his huge easel in a corner of the family room painting the blue jeans. He said how happy he was that the legs matched because he'd taken a bit of a break between painting them. Please note that the copyright watermark does not appear on the painting or the print (the prints on fine art paper have a small caption beneath the image). This piece is offered as an open edition giclée print. Professionally printed giclee by FinerWorks in San Antonio, Texas, using UV pigmented inks. Archival quality and rated to last 150 to 200 years.
