A Zen Buddhist monk stops to rest beneath a blossoming tree. He plays his flute, accompanied by the music of the waterfall, the distant birds and the dancing cherry blossom petals. Pine trees line the craggy mountains. This is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
