Against a sunset in shades of orange ranging from goldenrod to vermilion, a black cat and crow sit on a haunted tree. Teal-colored moss hangs from the spooky gnarled tree branches. In the hollows of the tree, bright eyes peer out. Inspired by a California live oak tree on a trail in Portola Valley. An original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in black). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
