A dramatic night sets over the southern Oregon coast. Metallic gold combines with violet, blue and magenta to light the darkness as waves roll in. In the distance, the rock formations of Cannon Beach as seagulls fly overhead. This seascape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
