Ravens In A Moonlit Landscape
California ravens fly through the clouds by the light of a luminous full moon. Beneath, an oak tree stands on a golden hill among the wild rye grasses. This impressionist landscape, with a touch of the surreal, was inspired by a walk at Arastradero Open Space Preserve in Palo Alto, California. It is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4″ sides are finished off in brown). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail (or may be framed). Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
