Two shimmering dragonflies dance above a lotus pond. Three pink lotus blooms, one closed bud, one partially open, and one in full bloom, represent the spiritual journey in Buddhism. In a park near where I live, the pond there was naturalized and lotus flowers added. I did not realize in advance they had done this and was amazed when, one summer, I rounded the corner on the trail and saw all this pink. I'd never seen lotus in real life. This floral landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
