Backyard Birds in Birch Trees Original Painting - Laura Milnor Iverson Official Site

An ode to some of the birds I see out in my backyard in Corvallis, Oregon. Nearly hidden in the lichen covered white birch trees are a scrub jay, yellow warbler, chickadee and a woodpecker. Beautiful varied background colors set this Pacific Northwest landscape apart.This landscape is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are painted). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
