A pilgrim stands at the entrance to a red bridge across a waterfall. At the other side, there is a trail through the Nemophila, or baby blue eyes flowers, to a torii gate leading up the mountain to a welcoming temple. Birds fly up from the temple, like the soul freeing itself from the misty, hard terrain left behind. This mystical landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
