A vibrant mix of colors is woven into a mosaic-like background, featuring silhouetted lotus flowers and lily pads. Delicate dragonflies hover above, adding to the ethereal and serene atmosphere. There is a lotus pond near me. Right now, it is winter and they are sleeping. I still go there and walk around the pond, seeing the seed pods frozen in the pond and I think, "Maybe things will be better when the lotus blooms again." This contemporary surreal landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail (or may be framed). Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
