Two sandhill cranes fly through blue skies with white fluffy clouds. An oak tree stands on a hill filled with wildflowers on this Spring morning. This contemporary landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting has a bit of a backstory. Pour paint is unpredictable. When this one dried, there were two little dark lines in the sky. I used them to place the wings for the cranes.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
