Beneath dark clouds, the snow-capped Three Sisters mountains are illuminated in a line of light of pink and yellow. Geese fly gracefully through. Elk graze in the green meadow. A pond in the foreground reflects the lovely sunrise colors. This landscape, inspired by a view from Finley National Refuge, a place I often visit, is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
