Geese fly through a golden strip of light at sunrise. The light reflects in a body of water, spilling down over the mountains to create a firefall of water. An old pilgrim makes her way past one torii gate on her way to the temple on the cliffs beside the waterfall. High up in the distance, another torii stands, guiding travelers coming over the mountains. This mystical landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
