A pilgrim stops for a respite beneath a flowering tree. He has journeyed far and finally sees the temple off in the distance. His goal in sight. He will next have to cross the rocks as waterfalls cascade down rugged slopes. The final road to leads through a torii and up the stairs, where the temple waits warmly lit and welcoming. This zen landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
