A little owl watches a yokai (nature spirit) walk through a vibrant and colorful forest scene. More yodama (tree spirits) appear in the tree trunks, casting elongated shadows on the forest floor. The background is awash with various hues of blue, purple, yellow, and orange, creating a captivating and dynamic visual effect. This contemporary fantasy landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
