A spouting whale glides through Depoe Bay at twilight while seagulls fly overhead. Stars dot the blue night sky with touches of silver clouds, reflected in the water. This lovely seascape of the Oregon coastline in the Pacific Northwest is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
