A Buddhist monk, sitting in meditation among the stately redwood trees and primeval ferns. The forest has been transformed into the chakra spectrum of the rainbow, each chakra glowing with a radiant sun or moon. Inspired by a visit to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Santa Cruz, California. This surreal visionary landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are finished off in black acrylic). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail (or may be framed). Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
