Late summer, the wetlands grasses have turned golden. Geese fly over the Oregon mountains, colored by the purple sunset. Mary's Peak is just visible in the background. This Pacific Northwest landscape, inspired by the vistas at William L Finley National Refuge, is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
