Ravens light on Japanese magnolia branches under a full moon. Gray clouds swirl as the fog rolls in on mountains covered in pine trees. This Pacific Northwest surreal landscape was inspired by the view out my dining room window in my home in Corvallis, Oregon. I was captivated by the bright pink blossoms in the gray sky. Part of the Patterns series, fantasy surreal landscapes evoking the feeling of a place. This landscape is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in black). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
