Swirling patterns of purple and white create an ethereal sky over a dynamic seascape. The receding waves forms patterns of foam in the copper brown beach. This view of Point Lobos from Monastery Beach in Carmel, CA, is one I saw when we used to go there. Now just a memory. This seascape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
