A dramatic Pacific Northwest seascape features crashing waves under a swirling, vivid purple sky. The coastline is marked by dark silhouettes of trees, adding to the scene's moody atmosphere. Inspired by my visits to the Oregon Coast. This particular scene reminds me most of Depoe Bay. This seascape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
