Phoenix and Tree of Life

This phoenix unexpectedly appeared in this pour painting. Using the abstract shapes, I created a turquoise tree of life, which I then dotted. This fantasy outsider art is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
