The Triumph Of Compassion Original Painting
Quan Yin, the bodhisattva of mercy and compassion, sits in meditation upon a green dragon, which is gradually formed out of the curtains of the aurora. In riding the dragon, the Buddhist Goddess represents the aspect of bravery that compassion and mercy often involve when they come up against the cruelty and violence of the dragon nature. The full moon is a further symbol of the Divine Feminine at work. This visionary landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail (or may be framed). Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
