Storm clouds brew over the golden grasses of an Oak savannah. To create this unique landscape, I used several techniques of pour painting. The sky involved a swipe, a blow dryer and tilting the canvas. The savannah was done with a wandering pour cup and a tilt. I enhanced the oak trees a bit after it dried with acrylic paint. This moody piece is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
If you would like hanging wire added to the back of the canvas, please let me know in the notes to seller when you check out. Or, email me right after.
