A temple aglow in the sunset, high up in the mountains. Birds fly overhead, an aqua waterfall cascades through colorful mountains. A red torii marks the way to the temple. Beside it, a blossoming tree. A monk in red robes with a straw hat sits on a rock near a large, twisted tree, regarding the journey to be resumed. This shinto landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
