Under a fiery tree, an old sage sits playing a flute, a Siamese cat beside her. With her flute, she weaves a mystical landscape. They look towards the next stage of their journey, a sky blue torii gate standing atop one of the peaks on the other side of the waterfall. Beyond that, a temple awaits. Birds fly up from the temple. This is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
