Tree Of Life Meditation Original Painting

A woman sits beneath a tree of life meditating on the chakras, which are swirling around the full moon. She wears a white peasant blouse and blue jeans, her hair tied in a single braid down her back. The tree was inspired by the gnarled old oaks in my native California landscape. The joyful chakras have a nod to the colorful tie dye art of the hippie era. An original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
