One of those Spring mornings when I came home from my neighborhood walk by a local parkland in Corvallis, Oregon and had to paint what I saw. Geese fly through a vibrant sky filled with swirls of purples, blues, and yellows, creating a dramatic backdrop for a serene landscape featuring tall trees and distant mountains. A field of varied wildflowers dazzles the foreground. This contemporary landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
