Dawn light just starting to break through a mysterious, misty woodland. Layers of colors and textures behind dark silhouettes of trees. Inspired by my walks in Mary's River Natural Area in Corvallis. This Pacific Northwest landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
