A momma and baby black bear sit in the cool mist of the Oregon woods, inspired by a visit to Beazell Memorial Forest in Philomath. Moss grows on some of the white oak trees with lush ferns in the foreground. The fog obscures the pine trees of this peaceful Pacific Northwest landscape, giving it a zen atmosphere. This landscape is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in black). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. The canvas has been wired to hang.
