Sudden Storm in May

Two oak trees stand on a golden hill in seas of wild rye grasses. Dramatic clouds in dark gray skies signal a sudden Spring storm. This California landscape, from San Mateo, is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in green).

It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
