Stone stairs wind up from the torii through rocky cliffs to a temple, which sits next to a twisted pine tree. A pilgrim stops to rest by the waterfall before continuing the journey. Birds fly up from the temple into the sunset sky. This contemporary fantasy landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
