Rays of sunlight shine through dark clouds over a summer meadow with white wildflowers. Geese fly over a distant mountain. This Corvallis, Oregon landscape, from my daily walks, is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
