The tumultuous sea churns in purple and indigo. In the distance, a few seagulls fly through the last bit of light beneath dramatic dark clouds. This seascape, inspired by the Oregon coast, is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
