Vibrant colors swirl behind the dark silhouettes of tall, bare-branched trees. Two forest spirits move quietly through a sunlit woodland to join the butterflies dancing in the light. Maybe they are Japanese Yokai. Maybe Oberon and Titania. The foliage on the ground is awash with purples and greens, while the background glows with shades of yellow and blue.This contemporary fantasy landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail. Hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost).
