A nutria (semi-aquatic rodent) swims through the cloud and autumn reflections in a peaceful pond. Gentle gray clouds pass over the mountains and pine trees in this Impressionist Oregon landscape from Sunset Park in Corvallis. This landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are finished off in black). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. The canvas has been wired to hang.
