When I moved to Oregon in winter, one of the first thing I noticed was the beautiful, intense, amazing skies. In this piece, geese fly through golden light under dark gray clouds, a row of pine trees looking on. This Pacific Northwest landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
