Two mangrove trees stand gracefully in a surreal landscape, their branches intertwined above a calm body of water while a vibrant sunset fills the sky with warm colors. A solitary scarlet ibis perches on one of the branches, adding a touch of life to the ethereal scene. The ibis represents so many things, all of which apply here. This contemporary surreal landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
This painting will hang just fine on a nail (or may be framed). Additional hanging hardware is not included (local art or framing stores can usually be found to add this at a nominal cost, if wanted).
