For many years, I sought this place, Lover's Point in Pacific Grove, where bright magenta wildflowers bloomed by the sea. After a number of unsuccessful excursions, I discovered it was as much a "when" as a "where". After that, it was an Easter tradition to visit this place in Spring. I included the adorable seals you often see there. This seascape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
