A nightingale singing her heart out to the full moon. Cherry blossom petals dance in the night sky, which is in shades of lilac, lavender and purple. Moss hangs on the branches, a reminder of winter in the midst of Spring. The title comes from a line in The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. An original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in black). It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
